When was The Redstone Room built?

The Redstone Room Room was built on the 2nd floor of the River Music Experience specifically as a live music venue and opened for the first time on April 1, 2006. It's located at 2nd and Main in Davenport, IA is just one block from the Mississippi River. The building itself is a beautifully renovated historic relic known as the Redstone Building.

Where can I buy tickets to events at The Redstone Room?

Advance tickets can be purchased at The River Music Experience admissions desk, or via our ticketing system,, and at the Moline Co-op Record store (for most shows). Tickets purchased in person are available during normal River Music Experience hours.

Can I call The Redstone Room Box Office to purchase tickets?

Yes, an RME employee can help you at 563-326-1333 ext. 105 during box office hours.

Can I purchase tickets the day of the show? 

You can purchase tickets in advance on the day of the show up until 5pm online or at our box office.  After 5pm you'll only be able to purchase tickets at the Redstone Room gate once doors open to the show.  Cash or Credit/Debit Cards are accepted at the gate, but please note that ALL tickets purchased to our events are subject to additional ticket service fees, including day of show and walk up sales. 

How does Will Call ticketing work?

When you select your tickets to be available as “Soft Will Call” via our Midwestix ticketing system online, this means that your name and information will be on hand at the gate of the Redstone Room entrance in lieu of having printed physical tickets. Please bring a photo ID to verify your purchase.

What does it mean to have a "General Admission" ticket?

All shows at the Redstone Room are General Admission unless noted otherwise. General Admission (GA) seating means that any seating other than reserved is available on a first come basis. GA tickets do not guarantee seating. Please note that purchasing a ticket does not guarantee a seat.

What is the ticket refund policy?

Tickets for concerts in The Redstone Room are NON-REFUNDABLE, with the exception of canceled shows.

Can I reserve a table in the Redstone Room?

Table reservations are available to RME Members for $25 or $50 for the general public. By purchasing a reserved table, you are guaranteed a high top table with four (4) bar stool seats, but please note that this is a ticket upgrade, and you must also purchase a General Admission ticket to the show for allowed entry.  Purchasing a reserved table does NOT includ the ticket to the performance. Are there places to sit at The Redstone Room?

The number of seats available depends completely on the nature of the event. If it is important that you have a seat, please ask what the seating configuration is at time of purchase or call us the week of the show. Depending on the event there may be as many as 150 seats or as little as none. The main floor is more often than not set up in a cabaret style which is all general admission - tables, rails, chairs and stools are available on a first come basis. Some events will have very limited seating. Again, if seating is important to you, it is best to ask about the specific event when you purchase tickets.

Can I bring my chair to ensure seating? 

No. No outside seating is allowed, nor is moving chairs or furniture from our Gallery area or other spaces into the venue.  Each show is set up to ensure comfortability and space for all patrons. Please respect our guidelines.  

What time should I arrive to get a good place to see the show?

Due to the historic nature of the Redstone Room, there are architectural columns in the space. Although most everyone inside the venue can easily see the stage, the earlier you get there the better the seat. For a sold out show, it is not uncommon for lines to form outside early in the day. Other times, you could arrive at show time and still find a preferred spot. It is really up to each person attending the event and their personal preference.

What should I do if I have special needs?

Please contact the River Music Experience for Redstone Room tickets at (563.326.1333 x101) prior to the day of the event if you need to make special arrangements (disabled seating, etc.). Please give us as much advance notice as possible so we have time to respond to your request.

What does "Sold Out" mean?

When a show is sold out, it means there are no longer tickets available. So if you haven't already purchased tickets, you will not be able to attend the sold out show. We do not usually hold back tickets for release at the last minute; however, in the event that not every ticket holder shows, in some cases it may be possible for us to sell more tickets after the show has begun if approved by Artist Management.

What happens if I don't have my ticket with me when I arrive for the show?

Everyone must have a valid ticket in order to enter Redstone Room for paid events. If your ticket was purchased on-line, and you are the person who purchased the ticket, we can liekly find it in the system. Please proceed to the front desk for assistance. Please be aware that if the event is sold out you will not be able to purchase additional tickets.

What is the smoking policy?

Smoking inside The Redstone Room is not allowed at any event. If you are ticketed, and would like to smoke outside, you will be allowed to leave the building and re-enter.  The use of e-cigarettes indoors is also discouraged. 

Are credit and debit cards accepted at the bar? How about at the merchandise booth?

Credit and debit cards are accepted at the bar in The Redstone Room. Band merchandise booths usually accept cash only, but some do have their own electronic card scanning devices. There is an ATM located on the first floor of the RME in the event that you need cash.  Personal and business checks are not accepted forms of payment for tickets and bar tabs. 

Is food available in The Redstone Room?

While the Redstone Room does not provide in-house food service, Woodfire Grill located on the first floor, serves a variety of meal choices which you are welcome to bring into the Redstone Room. You can also bring in other outside food if you'd like to eat inside the Redstone Room, but no outside beverages are allowed. 

What is the Redstone Room's policty on minors?

Unless the show is designated ALL AGES, you must be at least 19 years of age to enter the Redstone Room by yourself OR minors may be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Those over the age of 12 will still need to purchase a ticket to the performance, but those 11 & under may attend for free with a paid adult. 

Can I rent The Redstone Room for private events?

The Redstone Room is available for rental. Please contact Chrissy Boyer at 563-326-1333 ext. 114 for additional information.

House Policies

Weapons - The possession of all firearms and other weapons (including concealed firearms) on our premises is strictly prohibited.

Camera/Recording - We do not allow video cameras. We do not allow audio taping unless the artist approves. We do not allow still cameras unless the artist approves, and when approved, flashes are not allowed as they distract the artists and disrupt other patrons’ experience.

Camera and Recording policies are dictated by the Artist and are based on a show by show basis. Please see the specific show on the shows page for any additional information we may have. Please remember: Camera policies may be changed at the last minute by the Artist. We reserve the right to restrict camera use on the premises.

Smoking Policy - The venue is a non-smoking establishment

Stage Diving /Crowd Surfing - Stage diving and/or crowd surfing will result in immediate ejection from a concert. 

Re-Entry - Re-entry is allowed for those who are wrist banded at the door.

Backpacks - No backpacks of any kind are permitted.  All purses and bags are subject to search by venue staff. 

Open Tabs - An automatic gratuity of 20% rounded to the nearest quarter will be added to all open tabs which are left at the bar after closing. Cards left overnight can be retrieved during normal River Music Experience business hours.

Emergencies - The Redstone Room and staff want to assure our customers that we strive to make your visit a safe and pleasurable experience. Renovated in 2004, The Redstone Room is constructed of fire-rated materials that meet or exceed all modern fire and assembly codes. In the unlikely event an incident occurs, stay calm and proceed to the NEAREST fire exit rather than retracing your steps to the entrance.

The Redstone Room is located INSIDE the River Music Experience at 129 N. Main St. in downtown Davenport. The building sits right at the intersection of 2nd & Main streets. It’s easy to find whether you’re traveling from the east, west, north or south.
From I-80, take US-61 south toward downtown. Turn left onto W 2nd Street. You will see the Redstone Building front entrance on the east side of the street. Please note that you must use the Main St. entrance to the River Music Experience building at night.


There is a parking ramp available right behind the Redstone Building on Main Street. Make sure that if you use this ramp you prepay for parking, this is a different system than in the past. You will put your license plate into the machine in the garage stairwell to pay for parking. There is also an app available that will let you add more time as needed. There is also free two hour street parking available. Please check thoroughly for any signs or postings. The signs may not be large or easily seen, yet it is YOUR responsibility if you park on private premises. Some property owners may charge a fee and others may tow illegally parked vehicles.
