What is "Rock Camp USA?"

RME’s Rock Camp USA program features three 2-week sessions in the summer starting in June for young musicians ages 8-18. Participants rehearse their chosen songs, record them during dress rehearsal, and at the end of the session perform a concert in the Redstone Room!

Now in its nineteenth year nationally and ninth year here in Davenport, Rock Camp USA features intensive performance-oriented instruction given by professional area musicians and instructors. Rock Camp USA has grown into one of the countries’ top Camps, offering participants this once in a lifetime experience!

This program is typically only found in New York, Austin, Chicago, and other major U.S. cities. The RME's Quad-Cities program has been incredibly successful, and we're proud to be holding our own with the big-boys! This is truly a unique and special program for the Quad-Cities.

Rock Camp USA activities include:

Forming a band - picking your own material - rehearsing like pros – the option to write your own original songs - refining your skills - taking home a CD recording of your dress rehearsal and a DVD of your final concert performance – improving teamwork abilities - working with seasoned area musicians and others veteran Rock Campers – and performing live in the state-of-the-art Redstone Room at RME!
