Ellis & Kristi Kell Win "Extra Mile" Award from Lujacks!
Ellis Kell received a very nice gift from our friends at Lujack's Northpark Auto Plaza this week, when they gave Ellis an “Extra Mile Award” of $500! The Extra Mile award is given each week to someone who has gone the EXTRA MILE, on the job, or in the community.
Ellis & his wife Kristi have donated the $500 check from Lujack’s back to the Karli Rose Kell Music Scholarship Fund at RME, to help our area youth who can’t afford music lessons and educational program fees at River Music Experience (including our Rock Camp USA program). Over $24,000 has been raised in their daughter Karli’s memory, since they first established the fund at RME. We know Karli would be very proud in knowing that her fund helps area youth that might not otherwise be able to afford to pursue their musical dreams.
Make sure to tune into WQAD Channel 8 on Thursday, July 29th at 6:30pm or Friday, July during "Good Morning Quad Cities" (5-7am) to catch Ellis receiving the Extra Mild Award!
